Prior to their closure in fall of 2024, The M Den Distribution Center handled all of the University of Michigan fan apparel sent to their stores, filled online orders and prepped materials for sale at local UM sports events, namely the Big House (Michigan Stadium). The M Den and Skill and Ability Education partnered for employment related services beginning in the summer of 2019. These mainly included individualized and small group work experiences in which participants had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working in the warehouse. Typical tasks included sizing, folding, tagging and organizing a variety of shirts, hats, hoodies, jackets, everything Michigan! Occasionally, these work experiences later transitioned into part-time, seasonal employment with M Den during their busier times of the year.

The M Den Distribution Center was accommodating and inclusive of client needs throughout the partnership. With each participant or small group working at the M Den, their staff accommodated participant needs and welcomed each person as part of their warehouse team. Of particular note, summer work experiences at the warehouse were mutually beneficial, highly valuable experiences, with participants working as a small team in order to prepare thousands of items for each upcoming University of Michigan football season.
