Skill and Ability Education has partnered with Trinity Health Ann Arbor Volunteer Services (formerly St. Joe's Hospital) in Ypsilanti, for a variety of unique and inclusive skill building, work-related experience opportunities within their health care setting. The primary goal is to offer a variety of work-related tasks and responsibilities to positively impact the patient experience through Trinity's Creative Arts, Welcome Ambassador and/or Inpatient Unit Ambassador programs.

These programs are a great way for participants to gain valuable work-related experience, helping others, with minimal previous hospital experience necessary. Skill and Ability participants and support coaches also complete a thorough on-boarding and training program prior to starting. This ensures they complete all necessary medical screenings and training to confidently start doing valuable service during their temporary placement.
